The format for the Jr. Broncho team is changing

Beginning July 2026, the Jr. Broncho team will become a ‘Hybrid” recreational league / travel team.

All players will be playing Lafayette 56ers recreational league football. Once the season is underway, 20 – 25 players will be invited to join the Jr. Broncho team. The Jr. Broncho team will practice one extra night a week during the regular season. They will represent the 56ers in the Lucas Oil Stadium Games and the Broncho Bowl tournament. In addition to the above games, they will play an additional 2-3 game schedule verses quality travel teams. (i.e.: Westfield, Danville, Brownsburg). The Jr Bronchos will play an additional 5-7 games over their regular season league games. Between the end of the league season and the Broncho Bowl the Jr. Broncho team will practice 3-4 nights a week. None of the Jr. Broncho games or practices will interfere with regular league games or practices.
